Sealer

I recently bought a house with granite countertop. The countertop gets that wet look when I put a wet towel on it so I guess it needs to be sealed. You mentioned that changing brand of sealer is not a good idea. could you specify what consequences might be? Without knowing how the previous owner sealed the stone, do I not seal the stone at all or MB-4 would work as an alternative?

Dear Shi:
Your conclusion that your countertop needs sealing seems to be correct.

" You mentioned that changing brand of sealer is not a good idea. could you specify what consequences might be?"

The next impregnator may not work properly or at all.
This answers also your next question, I reckon... :-)

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)
