water damaged marble

Our chimney leaked and water sat on our marble hearth. Now that spot is no longer shiny. What do I use to correct this?

I wish all queries were that easy!... :-)
Get hold of a reputable stone restoration contractor that will hone (light grinding) and then re-polish the surface of your stone. Your homeowner insurance should pick up the tab.
