Honed Marble on a Kitchen Floor

Hi Maurizio, great site. From reading you answers i appreciate polished marble is no good in a kitchen. Is honed marble any better? or would you advise i go for Grantite? I don't really mind the floor looking older with time, as it will be. Thanks in advance, Mark.

Dear Mark:

If you really mean what you say (that you don't really mind your floor getting to look older), then hone-finished marble in a kitchen is green light across the board.
