resealing stone floor

My house has Arizona sandstone floors which have only been wet mopped over the last 20 years. The floor and grout was sealed when it was laid in 1986, but I don't know with what product. I want to clean and reseal to get back to the original color. What do you recommend? The floor is in our very "lived in" kitchen, dining, and living rooms.

Well, it's kind of difficult for me to tell you the appropriate course of action after over 20 years of intensive use and without seeing your floor...
Does the "lived in" look of your floor pleases you, or do you have a problem with it?
Is it only surface soiling, or does it have imbedded stains?
My best advice is for you to have your floor evaluated by a professional stone restoration contractor.
Over a physical inspection, they will be able to give you all your options.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)

Ciao and good luck,
