Tropical Brown Granite

We just had a new house built and had tropical brown granite installed. We did not seal it w/ an impregnantor sealer (thanks to reading your website first)! Can we clean our tropical brown granite slabs with hydrogen peroxide? I ask b/c it's a natural disinfectant and I've been using it on laminate counters for years (I put it in a spray bottle, I do not dilute it). Thanks, Tanya

Dear Tanya:
This is quite an interesting question... Amazing better defines it!... J
Hydrogen Peroxide for routine cleaning??...
Besides the fact that's slightly acidic and I wouldn't want anything acidic get in touch with my stone consistently, I wouldn't wan't to breathe the fumes of that stuff for all the money in the world. Occasionally, after handling raw meat and vegetable, maybe; for everyday use?... I don't think so!
Me?... My wife and I cook like maniacs, and all we've been using is a good-quality stone spray cleaner like MB-5.
We've been doing that for well over 10 years by now and we're still in excellent health, thank you very much! J
