Dear Kathy:
The short answer is, no, alas.
The question is: why is there any resin that could be damaged by a paint stripper on your “granite” sink surface?...
I've seen many “granite” sinks, but I never saw any resin over them…
One chooses a “granite” sink because of its resistance to just about any chemical it can become in contact with, this side of Hydrofluoric Acid. If your sink reacted to a petroleum solvent, you can hardly call it a “granite” sink, can you: “granite” sink with plastic over it would be more appropriate; at least one would know that one would have to deal with some silly plastic from a maintenance point of view (with all the easy scratching and possible blistering and chipping) rather than stone.
Does the world need marblecleaning.org or what?...
