my travertine table from rome.

tell me how to make my travertine table shine and look new again.

Dear Carolyn:

Hire a bona-fide stone restoration contractor who will have to slightly grind (hone) the surface of your stone and then finish the job with an appropriate polishing powder for marble and travertine.

Stone refinishing is a craft that's way beyond the average abilities of any DIYer. Not only does it require special equipment, abrasive and polishing means, but it above all requires the kind of training that no book could ever teach.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm? J

Ciao and good luck,
