cleaning a travertine shower

I just remodeled 2 bathrooms with travertine on the floors, shower floor and walls. I have read other questions asked of you and I am now more confused. How should I clean the floor of my travertine shower? I have not noticed any mildew or discoloration, but it has been over a month, and I know that it's time to clean it. We have very hard water here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have been afraid to buy any products for fear of ruining my expensive investment. Thank you.
