Empredor marble

Having just purchased one of your e-books, let me just thank you for the easy to follow information. I read about wether or not to seal marble, and i was wondering if you could tell me if the polished Empredor marble tile I have would need sealing to be installed on the walls of my shower? If so could you please tell me what type of sealant is required. Im from the UK, and many tiles companies here are very unsure!! Also after reading your e-book, I wont be leaving any gap for grouting outside of my shower unit!! Thank you once again.

Dear Kevin:
Nobody could ever seal Emperador. It's just too darn dense! Add to that big advantage the fact that's dolostone (not as sensitive to pH active substabces as calcareous marbles and limestones), and you have a winner for your stall!
Just in case I didn't read you right, you're going to have a 1/16" grout gap in between tiles inside the stall, right?...

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)

Ciao and good luck,
