Dear Heather:
If the sanding is smooth, uniform and already shows some reflection, then you should be able to obtain the final polish by using a good-quality Marble Repair Kit.
If you could use an orbital sander with a terry-cloth bonnet, you would be increasing the performance of the kit's main product a couple of folds. You would have to slightly dampen the bonnet (not wet, just a tad damp) and then you sprinkle some polishing powder onto it. Using a spray bottle spray a little bit (just a little bit!) of a mist on the powder, so that it will stick to the terry-cloth. Now spray a squirt of water on one tile and then apply the bonnet loaded with the powder onto it and buff away until it dries nice and shiny. Repeat if necessary. Start with only a little and then repeat if necessary – not vice-versa! If you use too much powder off the bat, you may “burn” the surface of the stone and then you'd have to sand it again.
May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at:
