I have yellowed marble from hard water. What is MB-3 you talk about to take it off. Title shops I have talked to do not know what it is. Thank You, Keith

 

Dear Keith:

In the stone business there's only one instance – and one instance only – when the perceived problem corresponds exactly to the actual problem: when a piece of stone is broken – End of the list.

In all other instances, the perceived problem could be the actual problem, but then again, it could not be.

If your stone turned yellow it only means one thing and one thing only: your stone contains iron minerals within and you have water behind and/or under your tiles that's migrating through its core.

That has nothing to do with hard mineral deposit from the water, and therefore MB-3 wouldn't do the first thing about.

Nothing will, as a matter of fact: your stone is rusted through and through.
