I have found the most beautiful slab of marble that I would love to use for the countertop in the bathroom that we are doing a complete remodel on. This is the bathroom guests use but also the bathroom my teenage son and daughter use. Is it a good choice and if so how can I best take care of it? Please tell me everything you know.

Well, what can I tell you?... I don't know your kids – you do!... :-)

Typically teenagers are not known as being raw models of neatness, but there are certain kids that are quite neat… So…

Polished marble is delicate surface. Caring for it is not that difficult, but it does require a certain degree of TLC.

IMO, your best course of action is to get the right intelligence about caring for polished marble surfaces, and then you will be able to evaluate if your kids can handle that.
