Home Depot - Limestone and Black Granite Tile

Ok Maurizio, from reading your site I can see that what I have is probably not great quality. The black "granite" tiles are now on my kitchen countertop, and the limestone tiles are my bathroom floor. I had already applied one coat of sealant to the limestone but have not done anything to the "granite". The products have just been installed (the grout is still drying as I type this email!). My question is simply, even though these stones may not be high quality, they look great at the moment. What is the best way for me to keep them looking great?
 

I had several recent reports – some of them in this very bulletin board – from consumers who submitted written evidence that black “granite” tiles from the Home Depot are maliciously doctored. If that's the case, you will have problems in the form of “mysterious ghost ‘water stains'” that will never go away.

I could never actually verify those allegations, but I have a problem believing that all those people could be lying. I mean, what would their motivation be? And so many?...
But, like I said, I can't confirm that.

At any rate, I sure hope that your tiles were not doctored. (Of course, I you already probably know since you read my posts, it is impossible to seal black “granite”.)
