There his a small chip on the granite my kitchen backspash. Can I use the regular clear epoxy that installers use to joint granite. If not the epoxy do you know what product can I use to repair the chip and the process. Thank You

Dear Anthony:

Can I use the regular clear epoxy that installers use to joint granite.

You could, but a question begs to be asked: “Do you know what you're doing? How are you going to fill the chip and then ground the filler flush with the surface of the stone to blend, without affecting its factory finish?”

Inasmuch I often help homeowner at taking care of “little things” themselves, I don't consider this as a DIY project.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
