Grease stain out of Bluestone

Hi- A large amount of cheese flavored popcorn was dropped on a bluestone patio. It was not noticed until the next morning. When we picked it all up we found large amounts of grease stains left. How can I remove the grease stains from the Bluestone patio? Thank you. Debbie

Dear Debbie:

I've got some bad news and some good news for your.

The bad news first:

Considering how long the butter has been dwelling in your stone and the extensiveness of the stain, it may turn out to be very difficult to remove it by poulticing it.

The good news now:

If you leave it alone for a while, after a few good hard rains and the bleaching from good ol' sun, the stain will disappear by itself!

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm? J

Ciao and good luck,
