Travertine for covered Patio and Porch |
Article Number: 1033 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Sat, Jan 12, 2008 at 12:00 AM |
Hi, Is it advisable to install honed travertine tiles (not pavers) over concrete slab (I already have the slabs in place) under a covered back Patio and a covered front Porch? Also the Porch has 2 steps, would the travertine tile take the wear and tear at the step edges or should the edges be bull nosed? thanks!
Dear Vik:

If the installation is done properly, there should not be any problem.
“

”
They should be bullnosed, no doubt. Also, there should be minimal overhang – if any. In other words, the risers should be almost flush with the edges of the steps.
May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at:

Ciao and good luck,
