cleaning the shower

Q. My marble shower, floor, and counters are new. I would like to know how best to maintain the bright finish. Thank you

A. The first thing you should do is download the Stone Care Guide. It will arm you with everything you need to know.

Here are a few quick tips:

Marble is sensitive to acids so avoid any cleaners, products, etc. that are acidic. To be safe, always read the label of any cleaner to make sure it states that it is safe for natural stone. MB Stone Care MB-5 is an excellent stone safe cleaner.

MB Stone Care MB-5 can also be used to clean your mirrors over your countertops. This will prevent damage from overspray from non-stone-safe products.

Spritz the shower daily with the MB Stone Care MB-5, then wipe down with a squeegee. This will help prevent any buildup of soap scum.

Use a little MB-13 occasionally to spruce up your marble top. It's a stone dressing that will give it a nice sheen while adding some protection.
