Dark grout has stained my beautiful marble backsplash!!

Q.Help!! Our contractor placed our tumbled marble kitchen backsplash with adhesive last week, so I have had over a week to see and love the beautiful color variations of gray in the stones. Well, yesterday was grouting day and when I returned home from work last night, I almost cried. The beautiful gray is gone and is now a monotonous brown from the dark brown grout. Is there anything I can do to make this better???? Please give me any suggestions. Thanks!!!

A.If it is just grout residue it can be cleaned off. If the color from the grout absorbed into the stone that could possibly be a problem.
