how to remove epoxy from granite

Q.My steel under counter sink was installed using some kind of glue or epoxy only no hardware, it fail this morning, how do i clean off residue before re-installing?
A. No Mounts-call the installer back and kick his &^%$ or something. Didnt they charge you for the job its hard to have akitchen without a sink.
