acid ring on granite

How can I remove a ring that was created from a bucket that contained a bleach solution from my honed black granite counter top. I saw that there is such a product for marble but not granite. Thank you for any advice you can provide

I'm not a betting man, but I bet you a whole buck that if you wet it your “ring” it temporarily disappears.

Am I right?

Bleach can't affect a stone like black “granite”. What I suspect that happened is that your countertop has been treated with a color-enhancer – which is the right thing to do. The bleach damaged the color enhancer, not the stone. If you apply more of the same product that was originally used by your fabricator, you will solve your problem.

However, all the above was just an (educated) guess. Therefore, if what I ventured is not right, let me know and give me a better description of the “bleaching”. If you could send me a picture it would help.
