Granite or Silgranite Sink

I purchased a double bowl Blanco Silgranite granite sink in the dark charcoal color. I have noticed on one bowl (the one that is used the most) the color is lightening across the whole bottom and partly up the sides. I do not use any abrasive cleaners. Is there anything I can to to restore the dark charcoal color?

Granite and “granite” are natural stones, while silgranite is manmade material even if they use particles of granite to make it. (Or so they say… And, BTW, which "parts" and which granite or “granite”?…) It does fall under the classification of the so-called engineered stone (whatever that means).

I'm not very familiar with the characteristics and maintenance requirements of silgranite, but going by the few queries that I'm beginning to receive, it seems to be somehow far from worry-free.

I would suggest that you inquire with the manufacturer through your dealer. If they don't how to care for their own products, who else should, right?
