Smoke Damaged Travertine

Hello, Hope you can help. I have recently purchased a home that had a small fire in it and it has Travertine floors in the kitchen and master bath. Can you tell me how to clean smoke damaged Travertine and what products are best to use? Thanks in advance, Marvin

Dear Marvin:

For smoke damage a specialty product like MB-9 used with a professional-grade floor scrubbing machine should do the job pretty well.

After that, you will go on a routine maintenance with milder stone floor cleaning products like MB-1.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
