marble tile in shower mildew problem |
Article Number: 1265 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Wed, Feb 27, 2008 at 12:00 AM |
I am noticing mildew on grout in shower. How do I clean? This is a fairly new shower. Less than a year. The mildew is on the grout not on the marble.
Dear Marlene:
If the mildew is only the consequence of poor air circulation, then a good quality mildew stain remover like MB-9 will do the trick for you.
But if the mildew is a consequence of the possible fact that water may have found its way behind and under your tiles through missing or cracked grout, then the problem could be more serious than meet the eyes and it must be addressed immediately.
May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?
Ciao and good luck,
Maurizio Bertoli
