Golden Persia granite

Are ther other names for Golden Persia granite. I would like to use this on a kitchen countertop with a 10" unsupported overhang. It this stone a stone that will give me problems due to cracking, breaking, or small fissure lined in the future? To prevent any of these problems which of your products do you suggest and how often will I apply the product? Would this be a stone which you would choose for a cooking countertop. Any other suggestions and ther care. Thanks

Dear Bill:

Golden Persia is so-called “exotic granite” (whatever that means). Nobody can predict with intelligence the performance of that stone with that kind of unsupported overhang. If someone tells you for sure one way or the other, this someone is only guessing.

To prevent any of these problems which of your products do you suggest and how often will I apply the product?

And do you really think that some liquid in a bottle is going to turn a potentially fragmented and fragile stone into a solid piece of steel?... You're giving my product line way too much credit! J

Would this be a stone which you would choose for a cooking countertop.

Are you asking me?... Well, no; personally I would not. At least not the way my wife and I cook!

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
