botched granite seams

Q. Summit Designs out of Greenville S.C. did our granite countertops and they gave us a huge 1" seam filled with brown silicone stuff. It is so noticeable you can see it as soon as you hit the door. Even worse they won't come to fix it or even look at it. What do I do??? Please help!!

A. This is exactly why we tell consumers the most important stone care consideration is to be very selective with your fabricator. Sometimes, trying to save a few bucks ends up costing in the long run.
