Stains on Onyx Sink

Q. I have an onxy countertop in a bathroom at my home. After my tenant moved out there is a brown stain in the full sink like the tenant left a shirt soaking there. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can get this out?

A. There could be a few reasons for this. Let's start out with the most probable cause and simplest solution. Get some Oxy Clean (from the grocery store laundry aisle). Fill the sink with hot water and add about 1/2 cup on the Oxy Clean and let it sit until hopefully the stains go away.

If that doesn't do the trick, let us know.
