Unsealed areas on granite countertops

Q. Hello Maurizio: We just got the Granite counter Tops, according to installer he sealed the entire countertop, but we are see water absorption in some areas. Will the water absorption damage the counter top? What should we do to prevent the water absorption from happening?

A. Seal any areas that are not properly sealed. The water absorption will not hurt the countertops, but unsealed areas are vulnerable to staining.
