How do I remove the vinegar spots on my marble counter top? |
Article Number: 1684 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Tue, Dec 23, 2008 at 12:00 AM |
Q. My wife cleaned the counter top with vinegar and water. It spotted it and I have not been able to get the spots off. It took all the gloss off.
A. The vinegar has etched your countertop. If you can feel a dip in the stone with you finger this is considered to be a severe etch. For slight etching you can use MB11 Marble Polishing Powder which can be found at http://www.mbstonecare/?Click=3189. For severe etching you will need to have it professionally restored.
