Brackets/Granite

Q.I had granite installed in my kitchen. Great job. However I needed brackets to support the granite bar. The granite guys really botched that job. They cut very uneven slits (for the brackets) in the decorative wood under the bar and didn't even position the brackets straight before screwing them into the wall and gluing them to the granite.Had I been there this would not have happened. I want to hire a good finish carpenter to start over with this. Is there a way to safely remove the brackets from the granite (dissolve/cut the glue etc?).I thought about trying a razor blade? I did not want the granite company to try to fix it because they did not see anything wrong with it. They also screwed up my plumbing! I just wanted them out of my house. Thank you for your advice.
A.Sorry but we dont do installations post your question on the stone advice or john bridge forum. They will help you out.
