Carrera Marble

Q. I recently had my bathroom redone with carrera marble tiles on the floor. I was under the impression that it was a white tile with grey movement in it, as that is all i have ever seen of this marble. The tile that is on my bathroom floor is dark grey with black movement and no white whatsoever. Is this because the slab was just darker than usual or should I question if it is really carrara marble at all?

A. White carrara has some variations which may is termed grading in the stone industry. It is an unregulated industry so the place where you got the stone from may have been told this is white carrara. Anyway we tell folks order nothing unless you have samples and are dealing with a bona fide stone company.
