Travertine counter top

We like travertine. Our experience has been with shiny, filled travertine flooring. Ours always looked fine except for the occasional accidents from our dog. In our new house, we want to install travertine kitchen countertops. Based on previous answers you have provided others, it seems we need to order low-honed, flat travertine. Do you agree? Also, what is the best product you would recommend for a travertine impregnator and a travertine polish? We are ordering your paid literature site info and that may answer this question. Thanks.

Dear George:

Yep.

Yep.

The only thing I don't understand is the travertine polish thing. What polish do you have in mind if you get low-honed travertine?

But it was probably a typo. J

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)

Ciao and good luck,
