Travertine backsplash

Maurizio- We've just had a honed travertine backsplash installed and would like to apply color enhancer. We have a product called Stone Bright (from Miracle Sealants). Is this suitable for travertine? And if we use this product in addition to a sealer, which do we apply first (sealer or enhancer)? Or is it better to use one Enhancer/Sealer product? If so, which brand do you recommend? We already have Stonetech Bullet proof sealer (we used on our granite countertops). Will this be effective on travertine? The grout work has not yet been done. Should the grouting (we have sanded grout) be done before or after the enhancer and sealer are applied. We want to make sure the grout work doesn't damage the tiles at all, so should sealing be done before AND after the grouting or will the grout not adhere as well if sealing/enhancing is done before grouting? Thanks much for your help!

Dear Julia:

" We have a product called Stone Bright (from Miracle Sealants). Is this suitable for travertine?"
I have no idea; I never get involved commenting products of the competition.

" Or is it better to use one Enhancer/Sealer product?"
I do believe so.

MB-6 is crossing my mind right now... :-) ( http://www.mbstonecare.com)

The application of an impregnator/color-enhancer (like MB-6) should only be done a week or better afer the installation is completed to allow for propre curing of the setting material and grout. I never even heard of grout possibly damaging travertine, honed or polished.

Now remember, it's never too early to think about the proper maintenance of your stone.
