Granite shower stall

Help! I had a granite shower stall put in last year. (Don't know the name of the granite - it is very light, whitish background with brown/gold markings). The granite seems to be absorbing water; every time I use the shower, the water stains get larger and larger until they stain the whole floor and up the sides of the shower. The installer has tried to seal it three different times, but it still stains. Please help! Is my only alternative replacing the granite?

Dear Paula:
Of course it still absorb water! The water's being absorbed from the back of the tiles, because, I bet, your have grout and/or caulk missing or damaged.
I'm wondering why I can "see" these things without actually seeing them, while the "pro" who came over to seal your stone could not see the real problem while it was only a few inches from his or her nose...
Perhaps, if they did they couldn't have charged you for the sealing job... :-)

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm? J

Ciao and good luck,
