Antique Marble Mantel Cleaning |
Article Number: 81 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Thu, Jun 7, 2007 at 12:00 AM |
I purchased an ornately carved white antique mantel in Europe and installed it recently. Since it is old and was packed in shipping crates for 5 years it got a little dirty. There is a particularly noticable smudge along the front edge of the mantel top that I would like to clean, what is the best way to do this without damaging it. The marble is not not polished. Thanks, David
Dear David:
A heavy-duty alkaline cleaner rated "for stone", like MB-2 will do the trick for you!
