Leveling installed Granite Tiles |
Article Number: 922 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Sat, Dec 15, 2007 at 12:00 AM |
Hi: We have a customer that installed 18x18 Granite Tiles in a very short time. Apparently, they are not levelled and have visible level difference as high as 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch. Please help with the best possible solution to level this without having to take them out. Thanks Anand
Dear Anand:
Technically it is doable, but… You've got to find the right stone restoration contractor with the right equipment ($15,000 minimum the machine alone) and the right know-how to tackle a job like that. Anybody who would bid less than $20/sq.ft should be thrown out of the premises.
Are you getting my drift?... I think so!
