Damaged Granite Top

I just damaged my bathroom vanity top. It is green granite (a stock item from one of the home improvement chains). I accidently set a bottle of toilet bowl cleaner on it for a few minutes and there must have been some of the cleaner on the bottom of the bottle. When the bottle was removed the granite was visible bleached out where there was contact. Washing the affected area was did not help. The active ingredient in the toilet cleaner was hydrogen chloride. Is there anything that I can do to repair or at least minimize the lighter colored areas? Thanks in advance!

No. Your only option is to hire a proficient stone restoration contractor who will slightly re-grind (hone) the surface of the stone where the damage occurred, and then re-polish to blend-in with the rest of the surface.
