Sanded grout

Q.I have honed filled travertine floors with sanded grout. Is it o.k. to polish the floors or will the sanded grout scratch the stone? Thank you in advance
Hello-Yeah There could be some issues with scratching but more so with polishing compounds getting in the grout lines and be difficult to remove. Other important issues like where the stone is located is more important. Kitchens and or dinning rooms will show all acidic spills and require maintenance.
You must know the pros and cons so it can help your decision. In the end however it will be what finish you like best, Its your floor after all!!
