stone restoration business

I am the fabrication & installation supervisor of a medium sized stone fabrication shop. We have begun the process of educating ourselves on PROPER stone care for our customers. We have been getting a number of calls regarding restoring the shine to various types of stone. Since no one in our area is doing this we want to start a sister company for repair & restoration. What would be your best advice on getting educated in this matter. I am turning down work, because at this time I am afraid we could possibly make these situations worse, if we don't know exactly what we are doing. We want to get into this area of the stone business, but we want to do it right. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
