UbaTuba with pits and fissures |
Article Number: 1307 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Mon, Mar 10, 2008 at 12:00 AM |
I have just had Uba Tuba countertops fitted and whilst I understand that pits are normal should it be completely full of fissures? The sample I was shown did not have them. I did not go for a cheap price and am wondering if I have been supplied with an inferior granite. Thank you.
Dear Bette:

Wonder no more: you've been supplied with a dog of a slab.
L
Pits in Ubatuba should be minimal to almost nil.
And that is why the world needs marblecleaning.org. If we could have our way by representing consumers of stones, the grading of stone slabs would become mandatory, just as it is mandatory the grading of lumber.
Right now you're at the mercy of the good-heart of the supplier.
May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at:

Ciao and good luck,
Mauri
