Turkish v Italian Travertine |
Article Number: 1769 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Sun, Apr 5, 2009 at 12:00 AM |
Q.What should the price difference be? I am getting quotes of A$90 v $A170. Is Italian that much superior to be nearly double the price? am I better off with marble?
A.Wow- That much of a price difference.I dont know which is better.I have worked with both sometimes not knowing which is which. There are many different travertines that are great stones. Go with your gut feeling.
If you are shopping on the web for stone it will be tough to really get a feel for the stone unless you look at it upclose.
Are you better off with marble?Whats the application. If it a bath or kitchen a filled honed silken travertine cant be beat.
