Granite Sealed?

Q.Hello, I just had a house built and asked the builder to put Impala Black Granite Counter Tops in. I'm not sure if they sealed it which I hope not. How can I tell if it's been sealed or not. I want to buy the MB6 so I can add shine to the dull look of my counters. Thanks
A.Hi-Your builder put in impala black countertops that are dull.I take it they are honed and not polished. The easiest way to check to see if they are sealed would be to call up your builder and ask him. Impala black is basically non-porous even honed. If there is sealer it can probably be removed with acetone. Then yes you can apply mb-6 to give the countertop some depth of color read the instructions carefully.
