Q.The altar steps at our church have carpet on them that we are replacing. We now find under the carpet and older carpet that was glued down. It seems easy enough to pull off but it looks like the marble is stained probably from the glue. How can we clean it?
Hi-Thats easy. You dont- Hire a bona fide professional stone refinisher and let them do their thing. Really you will be glad you did. Depending on the situation you may be able to restore the stone close to its original condition.
