Travertine or Slate

Hello, I've been on a search for just the right stone or tile for my bathroom remodel.  I found something called Jerusalem tile and like it very much but was under the impression it is travertine.  Upon researching further it appears to be a type of limestone.  I've read that limestone is a poor choice for a bathroom shower.  Can someone tell me which type of stone this is?  Thanks

Dear Naomi:
Despite the fact that many limestones would be a total disarster in a shower stall, Jerusalem limestone (not a travertine) is one of the best limestones available. Yes, if can be used successfully for the purpose, providing that it's installed properly (many setters don't install stall right) and that you get the right intelligence on how to care for it.
