edging on granite

I have a small piece of granite, 2 cm, that I would like to bullnose on the other 3 sides. Can I use a router? How do I polish the edge when finished? Thank you.

Dear Michael:
Of course you have to use a router; but certainly not your router to do wood-work, that's for sure!!
Which brings us to the BIG question: What kind of experience do you have at doing that?...
If the answer is, none (or in that neighborough), then I suggest you to go to a good-hearted stone fabrication shop in your neck of the woods and let them do the job for you. No matter how much they will charge you (if anything) it will be cheaper than you getting the right equipment, the right (very expensive) shaping bits, honing bits and, finally polishing pads. You're looking at approximately $ 7 to 10 K! All this without mentioning the it would help if you'd know what you're doing!... :-)

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm? J

Ciao and good luck,

Maurizio Bertoli
