stone care and maintenance

I've notice in reading some of you question and answers, that you don't think alot of the professionals are properly educated on the care and maintance of stone. Please advice were I can get the proper education for stone maintance and refinishing. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Don:

Yes, you're right: I don't believe that the majority of the stone trade operators know much about stone and its requirements. If they did, we wouldn't be receiving so many queries, would we?

Of course, there's a minority who do, but they're rather the exception than the rule.

By logging into the Helpful Hints section of our website at: http://www.mbstone.com/HH_promo/helpful_hints.htm , you will be able to get the short version of our maintenance guidelines at no charge. The full version of it – a 7-page document considered by many as an industry benchmark – is available in pay-per-download format in our Educational Literature section at: http://www.mbstone.com/literature/literature.htm .

And remember, every single penny of the cost of the literature will be used to support this site and its cause: your cause.
