HOW DO I CLEAN MY GROUT ON TUMBLED MARBLE

I WOULD LIKE TO CLEAN AN AREA THAT IS COVERED WITH TUMBLED MARBLE AND THE GROUT. I SEALED IT MANY TIMES BUT BECAUSE IT GETS USED A LOT IT LOOKS REALLY DIRTY, HOW DO I RESTORE IT TO WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE WHEN IT WAS FIRST INSTALLED? PLEASE HELP, I NEED THIS DONE RIGHT AWAY, THANKS

Dear Ant:

I SEALED IT MANY TIMES BUT BECAUSE IT GETS USED A LOT

Hmmm… And what the sealing has got to do with the amount of usage of the stone??...

If it looks so dirty, perhaps you sealed it too much and you failed to remove every residue of the sealer from the surface of the stone before it had a chance to dry, so that at the end of the sealing job the surface of the stone was as bare as it was before you started the procedure. Sealers for stone are strictly below-surface products, and if some of the residue is left to cure on the surface it will attract soil like crazy. Sure enough, you could never remove it from the grout and it will get dirty real quick.

Under the circumstances I submit that you call a professional stone restoration contractor to see what can be possibly done to your intallation. I can anticipate to you that it ain't gonna be easy or cheap!

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
