Installation of Slabs of Travertine on walls.

I was wondering if installing slabs of travertine on walls needs to be anchored in or do you install it the same as if it were tiles on the wall? The slab size we are working with is about 30"x40" custom bookmark. Thanks a bunch!!!

Dear Kris:

While I will not take any responsibility for the content of my answer to your question, in my opinion, considering the small size of the cuts of slabs, if they are going to be installed indoors there's no need for any anchoring. At least that is what I would do in my own dwelling.
