Install limestone or not in bathroom and tub area

Q. So, should I NOT install limestone in my bathroom floor and tub area?

A. Limestone is not the best choice. It can oxidize and may present more maintenance issues than other choices. However, some limestones would be better than others. If you do decide to go with limestone, use a limestone that has been used successfully in a shower before. Make sure your supplier knows this. Tell them it will be used in a shower. Make sure you get a good, qualified installer that knows how to install limestone in a wet area.
