Polished sandstone kitchen floor

Gosh, I hope you can help. I have to make a pretty quick decision. I've put a hold on some gorgeous polished sandstone floors for my entryway and kitchen...since then I've learned that they can stain and pit easily...what's your advice on this? Thanks for you time and expertise. Nancy

Dear Nancy:

There are porcelain tiles that look (very much) like sandstone.

The real thing?...

I wouldn't consider it for my own house if they'd pay me money to get it!

Do I need to say more?...

I didn't think so! J

Ciao and good luck,

Maurizio Bertoli
