grout stained tumble stone |
Article Number: 1918 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Tue, Oct 27, 2009 at 12:00 AM |
QRecently I had tumble stone installed on my kitchen back splash. I chose a red grout. The tumble stone is now pink. The installers claim a simple acid wash will bring it back to the original color. Will the acid wash work? Thank you
A. Mrs Allen-It is possible that the acid wash will remove the grout residue which is probably what your problem is.
However marble are acid sensitive so the surface may need to be refinished. I would use our MB-3 which may remove the grout haze without using acid. Sorry for the delayed response so please feel free to call me if you need more info on this.
